Canvas offcut, cardboard pulp, china clay, charcoal

On Value

I started placing sheets of  raw canvas underneath my sculptures while making them, as a protective layer for the table.

The canvas caught all of the final bits of liquid run-off from the process.

Layers slowly build of the last bits of sediment having trickled through so many material and cultural nets, and I completely love what remains at the end of the process.
